We’ve known about the sequel since 2008, but the studio has kept quiet about its status ever since. A week of teases from director Michel Ancel gave way to Ubisoft’s official confirmation that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is in development at its Montpellier outpost. Ubisoft timed the giveaway with aplomb, considering the game’s recently heightened profile. Starting today until mid-November, grabbing a Windows PC copy of the classic action game is as easy as signing up for a Uplay account. Beyond Good & Evil is this month’s gift to Ubisoft fans, as the publisher is giving it away to Ubisoft Club subscribers throughout October.
